MKR1000 Introduction
What is it:
An Arduino microcontroller with a bunch of wifi connected project.
It has a built in wifi-module which is great for sending sensor datato the cloud, controlling devices and streaming live readings.
It can also connect to custom IoT Blynk, Cloud, and other custom APIs.
-> Expand on how it works and all the elements.
The pins:
- Analog Pins -> Measures a range of Voltages. Eg: How far you’ve turned a knob Etc
- AREF -> Analog Reference -> Defines what voltage counts as “Full scale”. Is used for more precise measurements since it can output an almost infinitely precise measurement? It uses 1024 bits since the ADC has a 10 bit limit.
- Digital Pins -> Measures only HIGH and LOW -> HIGH = Voltage present and LOW = voltage not present
- Power Pins -> Just manage the input output and the power supply
- VCC -> Voltage at the Common Collector -> Main positive power supply
- VIN -> Voltage In -> 5-6 V max if not using USb, goes through a regulator
- GND -> Just pushing black people to the Ground and circuits too in some cases
- Serial Pins -> Stream of bits sent over a link.
- TX -> Transmit Dataout
- RX -> transmit data in
- Other
- Reset pin
- SWD (Research)
2.0 Basic Arduino Shtuff
Today’s quick session: A Micro-win
After establishing wifi capabilities on Arduino, program the output to move a motor
Its a lot more complex then i initially thought.
