Suppose, one day, civilization had become sufficiently advanced enough to simulate reality through your own thoughts. the government now gives you the option to be plugged into a device for eternity where you don’t need to sleep, eat, hunger, you can just exist in constant experiential bliss. You can change the simulation to fit whatever your desires and needs are.
